PETAL Magazine is an independently run arts and culture publication that brings together visual and written work in equal measure. Founded by two cousins, Taylor Payne and Havana Xeros, PETAL is a print-first project that champions both emerging and established creatives whose practices engage with the shifting textures of modern life. Produced annually, each themed volume is developed through a distinctly conceptual and narrative-driven editorial approach, curating essays, criticism, fiction, poetry, photography, and artworks that speak to one another across disciplines. We seek artists and writers who push the boundaries of their medium and explore the social, political, emotional, and technological forces that shape our inner and outer worlds.
